First visit guide

What to expect on your first appointment.

No mystery. No "let's see how it goes." Here is exactly what happens on day one, in order, with rough timing for each step — and exactly what it costs, posted in the open.

  1. 1

    Paperwork (15 minutes)

Fill out a short new-patient form in the waiting room, or ask us to send it ahead. Bring a photo ID — and your insurance card if you plan to use benefits. If you have recent imaging (x-ray, MRI), bring it along; it can save a step.

  2. 2

    Conversation (20 minutes)

Dr. Kelly sits down with you and listens first. What hurts, when, how long, what you've already tried, and what you actually need to do again — pick up your child, sit through the commute, sleep through the night.

  3. 3

    Exam & on-site imaging

Orthopedic, neurologic, and range-of-motion tests. If x-rays are needed, they're taken right here, same day. We don't x-ray every patient as a matter of course — only when it changes the plan.

  4. 4

    Honest plan & price

You leave with a clear plan and a straight answer on cost and timeline. Our fees are published — initial exam + adjustment is $80 with no x-rays. No fourteen-page packets, no pressure to prepay for forty visits.

  5. 5

    Treatment, if you're ready

Most new patients get their first adjustment the same day. If today isn't the right day — too much pain, or you want to think it over — that's fine. We'll reschedule.

Common questions

What new patients usually ask first.

If the question on your mind isn't here, just call or text us — we'd rather answer it now than have you guess.

How much is a first visit?

An initial exam plus adjustment is $80 with no x-rays. If x-rays are clinically needed, they run $50 for one view up to $100 for three. We tell you the cost before anything happens.

Do you treat children?

Yes — Dr. Kelly cares for the whole family, pediatrics to geriatrics. Children's adjustments are remarkably gentle, often nothing more than fingertip pressure, and are $20 per adjustment.

What is the membership plan?

For families who want ongoing wellness care, membership gives you unlimited adjustments within each 30-day cycle. Individual is $80/month (after a $200 first month); family covers up to 6 people at $150/month (after $250 first month).

Do you take my insurance?

We're a cash-based practice with transparent, published pricing — often less than an insurance copay. Bring your card and we'll talk through your options on your first visit.

Do I need a referral?

No. Chiropractors are primary-contact providers in Texas — you can call or text us directly, no referral required.

What do you offer for scoliosis?

Dr. Kelly manages scoliosis with SpineCor® dynamic bracing — a flexible system that works with the body's movement to help correct or slow curvature, for children and adults.

Will an adjustment hurt?

Most patients find the sound more startling than the sensation. The adjustment is quick and usually relieving, and Dr. Kelly explains every movement before it happens.
